Màshoñaland West Province started its vaccination program today, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Mary Mliswa Chikoka sayed that they are targeting over 6000 frontline workers which include members of the media in the province.
Ministry of Health and Child Care Mashonaland West Acting Provincial Medical Director Dr Gift Masoçha said they have been given a window period of 10 days to finish the exercise.
Kariba District started its vaccination program with five vaccinated at kariba Hospital.
District medical Officer Godwin Muza led the way when he and other senior staffers received their jabs today.
The district received 521 doses enough for all medical and support staff in the district.
