Tourism players in Kariba have welcomed the move by the government to reopen domestic tourism after being shut late March following the covid 19 pandemic. In an interview with Zimpapers Radio Broadcasting Division, tourism players welcomed the move but said operators and travellers should be cautious on health as they should enjoy their holidays and be safe from the pandemic.

The tourism industry is one of the sectors that were hard hit by Covid-19 resulting in tour operators and hotels closing indefinitely due to lack of business.
