Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Zanu PF national chairman and Defence Minister, has urged citizens, particularly youths, to fiercely defend the country's political independence.

She stated that Zimbabweans' political emancipation has given way to economic independence, with opportunities to own farms and businesses.

Minister Muchinguri-Kashiri was speaking at the Karoi Presidential Rally, which was held to rally support for Ward 4 councillor candidate Solomon Chikwerengwe and other provincial candidates.
